Our People:

Meet our owners

Owners of Your Pilates Spot

Karen & Paul,

Change was calling after 30 years in the corporate world where I (Karen) was left with neck and hip injuries due to too much time spent at the computer desk. Having been introduced to Reformer Pilates by my physio, a new lease on life began! Through my own health journey and seeing the positive impacts reformer Pilates brought to me, I saw a real need to bring the benefits of Pilates to others and so, together with my partner Paul, Your Pilates Spot was born.

As Browns Bay locals, Paul and I are stoked to have our studio in an area we know is all about community and what better location than right by the beach! We look forward to the journey that YPS will bring and the physical and mental wellbeing we hope it will provide.

Meet our team of dedicated and passionate instructors

Female Reformer Pilates Instructor

Hi everyone! My name is Georgia and I’m so excited to join the team at Your Pilates Spot

At 25 I’ve decided on my 3rd career change, and that it’s time for my passion of Reformer Pilates to be what I do in my day to day!

Quick background check, I have a degree in Communications followed by a qualification in Personal Training! Having been a BFT instructor for the last two and a half years, I feel it has taught me well and I look forward to integrating those skills into the Pilates burn I aim to provide, along with some cheeky banter to get you through!

I can’t wait to meet all the new faces to walk through our doors and build the happiest community that everyone is going to be obsessed with!

See you soon

Hi, my name is Victoria, but all my friends call me Vic.
I’m a qualified Pilates instructor with certifications in anatomy, matwork, and reformer Pilates.
I have a background in a wide variety of sports and a passion for Pilates, hockey, and bouldering.
I love Pilates because it works muscles you didn’t even know you had, while still being an enjoyable and challenging form of exercise.

Hi everyone I am Dani.
I was drawn to Reformer Pilates because it allows me to develop full-body strength without compromising my knees any further, I also find the ropes fun for exercising and a good stretch!
This interest led me to get Certified in Anatomy & Movement and in Reformer Pilates instruction.

Outside the studio, you’ll often find me with friends or family outdoors camping, hiking, swimming, or playing netball.

Hi! My name is Tina. I'm a mat and reformer pilates instructor with a huge passion for fitness. My love for Pilates was ignited after my very first class. I loved the fact that it was low impact and I could push my body so much further than I expected.

I take a very technical approach, ensuring that proper technique is achieved first to maximise results and avoid injury.

I'll make you work hard, but whether you’re looking to improve your flexibility, build strength, or find a mindful way to stay fit, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I'm Clare! Originally from Derbyshire, UK, I’ve been calling New Zealand home since 2016, where I live with my husband and our 15-year-old daughter.

My background is in project management, but about 7 years ago, I stumbled into a Pilates class that completely changed my life. What started as just a way to stay fit quickly turned into a passion, and now, it’s safe to say I’m a bit obsessed!

I'm all about finding balance—both in Pilates and in life—and I’m excited to share this journey of body and soul wellness with others.
