Meet our owners

Owners of Your Pilates Spot

Karen and Paul,

After a successful career in the corporate world, a pivotal shift was inevitable. For Karen, long hours at the desk led to neck injuries, setting the stage for a transformative journey. Discovering Reformer Pilates through her physiotherapist ignited a newfound sense of vitality. Inspired by her own health journey and the remarkable benefits Reformer Pilates brought, Karen saw an opportunity to share its magic with others. And thus, with her partner Paul by her side, Your Pilates Spot was born.

As proud Browns Bay locals, Karen and Paul couldn’t imagine a better home for their studio than this vibrant, community-centered neighborhood by the beach. They’re thrilled to embark on this adventure and are passionate about promoting the physical and mental wellbeing that YPS aims to provide.

Meet our team of dedicated and passionate instructors

Female Reformer Pilates Instructor

Hi everyone! My name is Georgia and I’m so excited to join the team at Your Pilates Spot

At 25 I decided on my 3rd career change, and that it was time for my passion of Reformer Pilates to be what I do in my day to day!

Quick background check, I have a degree in Communications followed by a qualification in Personal Training! Having been a BFT instructor for the last two and a half years, I feel it has taught me well and I look forward to integrating those skills into the Pilates burn I aim to provide, along with some cheeky banter to get you through!

I can’t wait to meet all the new faces to walk through our doors and build the happiest community that everyone is going to be obsessed with!

See you soon

Female Reformer Pilates Instructor

Hi everyone I am Dani.
I was drawn to Reformer Pilates because it allows me to develop full-body strength without compromising my knees any further, I also find the ropes fun for exercising and a good stretch!
This interest led me to get Certified in Anatomy & Movement and in Reformer Pilates instruction.

Outside the studio, you’ll often find me with friends or family outdoors camping, hiking, swimming, or playing netball.

Hi everyone, I'm Rachel!
Since I can remember, dance has been part of my life. I grew up in love with ballet, movement, exercise and caring for the body — a passion that led me to pursue my certification in anatomy and my certification in reformer.
I've been teaching for several years now, and I truly believe pilates has so much to offer. It's a dynamic, fun, and effective way to train.  To me, it's the perfect blend of strength, mobility, and resistance, something I apply to my everyday life, both in and out of the studio.
My discipline comes from years of dance, gym and a genuine commitment to staying active and feeling my best. I love sharing that energy with my clients and creating a workout experience that's positive, motivating, and fun for everyone!

Hi I'm Beth, and I'm so proud to be part of the Your Pilates Spot team!
I fell in love with Pilates because it leaves me feeling lengthened, strengthened, and accomplished (both mentally and physically). My passion for movement, combined with my love of connecting with people, inspired me to become an instructor. My goal is to help others experience the same sense of confidence, empowerment, and wellbeing through their own Pilates journey.
I'm excited to support and encourage you every step of the way. I can't wait to see you in the studio!
